  • Bespoke residential and commercial architecture including new homes, additions, renovations, multi-residential projects and shops, restaurants and cafes. Our work prioritises climate, context, materiality and creating beautiful practical spaces.

  • Integrated interior design that is developed alongside the architecture — including spatial planning, finishes, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting and furniture.

  • We design and make a range of objects including furniture, accessories and lighting as well working with clients to create bespoke pieces

  • We work throughout Tasmania and welcome interstate inquiries.

  • We offer full architectural services throughout Tasmania, from initial concepts through to contract administration of the build and beyond.

  • We offer interior design services and specialise in bespoke joinery from concept through to tender packages and liaison with contractors

    Typical Interior Project Phases Include:

    • Design development and visualisation

    • Documentation and specification/scheduling

  • We offer custom design, fabrication and procurement of bespoke objects including furniture, lighting and accessories, both making in-house and via selected fabricators.

    Services can include:

    • Feasibility, Costings and Concept design

    • Visualisation

    • Design Development and prototyping in house and externally

    • Documentation and Fabrication drawings for manufacture:

    • Manufacture of objects - refer our previous work

    • Fabricator/manufacturer selection

  • We price based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation and receieving further info on your project, we can provide a fee proposal.

  • Summa Studio holds all relevant qualifications and registrations to practice Architecture in Australia and is able to work interstate in Australia. We carry continual Public and Professional Indemnity insurances. Lachlan Taylor is the nominated Registered Architect.
