An extension and addition to an existing east coast home, this dwelling provides for an extensive reworking of the existing layout while staying within the existing footprint of the building. The new upper level is choreographed to frame expansive coastal vistas to the east, while the north on both levels is opened up to capture northern sun, fostering a fluid, effortless transition between the robust interior and the coastal environment.
